Sunday XI Fixtures Released

Once again, in 2015 Southwold will compete in the top flight of Suffolk Cricket – and they start their campaign away on the 19th of April away at the 2014 champions Kesgrave.

The Sunday XI will play 16 league games in all, spread over a longer season that goes on until the 20th of September, so as to accommodate the knockout cup – with Southwold’s 1st Round fixture being away to Brantham on the 31st of May.

Because of two clubs leaving the league after the 2014 season to focus on Saturday cricket, only BT Waldringfield were relegated to Section B, with Section A welcoming back Southwold’s local rivals Saxmundham and St Margaret’s CC. St Margaret’s, who return after two years in the North Essex Cricket League, have slotted straight back in Section A.

Once again, Southwold will be ready for the tough season, captained by leading 2014 run-scorer Gareth Gorst-Allman.
